Suitable for:

Elementary School
Introducing oscillating movement to pupils as one of the basic types of movement. Motion recording illustrates the dependence of the instantaneous position of the oscillating body on time as one of the basic kinematic dependencies.
Secondary School
In addition: Helps to introduce and illustrate terms: period, frequency, timing diagram. It illustrates the behavior of the damped oscillator (timing) and the variation of elongation excited oscillator (resonance).
University
In addition: Comparison of the numerical model of the given basic movements (damped oscillation, vibrational vibration) and real data makes it possible to find the basic parameters of the given oscillator - the resonance frequency, the damping coefficient.
